Who We Are

The concept for Goldies Radio was established in 1995  by Larry G Shipp Jr, Goldies Radio founder, and CEO, interActive netServices, a business development company that has developed a number of internet properies since 1994.

 

The initial inspiration for Goldies Radio came, in the 80s, after Larry's involvement with Braiker Radio Network, as VP Affiliate Sales, and ,as one of the its co-founders along with Ivan Braiker and Pat O'Day.  BRN was a satellite music network in the 80's, which featured a Goldies music channel.

 

In addition to that inspiration, Larry's other significant broadcasting background and love of music, drawn from his extensive music collection that he accumulated over the years, all helped further seed the idea to launch Goldies Radio on www.goldies.fm as a 24/7 internet music station as soon as the technology allowed him to do so - featuring Larry's favorite music from the 50s, 60s, 70s, and 80s - those "Oldies But Goldies".
